RILO A/P Seminar on Detector Dogs
15-17 November 2016, Cheon-an, Korea
Mr. Kangsik Cho, Program Manager of the ROCB A/P participated in the RILO A/P Seminar on Detector Dogs held on 15-17 November 2016 at the Customs Border Protection Institute (CBCTI) in Cheon-an, Korea and introduced the ROCB A/P’s capacity building activities.
The Seminar was organized with the aim of strengthening the capability of interdicting the drugs, firearms and explosives etc. posing big threats to the social security and providing Members with an opportunity for collaboration and information exchange to maximize the efficiency of detection dogs in the A/P region.
More than 40 participants and observers representing the Member Customs administrations and other agencies attended the Seminar and shared uncover cases detected by detector dogs. “Availability of cloned detector dog” was introduced as a new way of breeding Detector Dogs.
