ROCB A/P pays courtesy visit to new Principal Advisor of Thai Customs Department

On 23 January 2017, Mr. Kazunari Igarashi, Head of the ROCB A/P, and his colleagues paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Paisal Chuenjit, new Principle Advisor of the Royal Thai Customs Department (TCD), second highest position within the TCD, to congratulate recent confirmation of his new posting.  Mr. Igarashi took this opportunity to thank him and call for his continued support for the ROCB A/P and its staffs along with his close friendship.  Mr. Igarashi also thanked Principal Advisor Chuenjit for his kind arrangement of a study visit to the Laem Chabang Port Customs Bureau (LCPCB), for the ROCB A/P and JICA staff members in the previous week (refer to http://www.rocb-ap.org/article-detail/299/?crmid=hgh36pgcfrtdl150be5c5ipe34), which provided them with an excellent opportunity to study and observe the Port’s good practices in border security and trade facilitation, including the activities of the Port Control Unit established under the framework of the WCO-UNODC Container Control.   Principal Advisor Chuenjit kindly gave the words of encouragement and continued support for the ROCB A/P, thus hoped continued close cooperation between the TCD and the ROCB A/P.  With the recent promotion, Principle Advisor Chuenjit is responsible for various portfolios including international affairs, he gave the ROCB A/P a brief explanation on some of his priority tasks.
