Welcome Ms. Eva, our new colleaque

Dear fellows,

It’s my great pleasure and honour to introduce myself in this platform. First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to my fellows in ROCB A/P and the Thai Customs for their warm welcome reception at the Suvarnabhumi Airport which really impressed me and I believe it surely sparks off a passionate devotion and a good start working in Bangkok.

I first earned my Master of Business Administration from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom in 1996, and participated in an exchange programme with Aalborg University, Denmark.  I was subsequently awarded the Master of Arts in English for the Professions at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2004.

In 2013, I further enhanced my academic background with the award of a Professional Diploma in Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.I have joined the Hong Kong Customs for more than 19 years.  During my tour of duty, I worked in different areas of focus.  I had wide career exposure which embraced the areas of investigation, intelligence processing specialized in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), import and export control on passengers and cargoes, and professional instructor for Customs new recruits at the training school.

In the capacity building area, I grew as a professional to coordinate and schedule training programmes, formulate course syllabi, conduct training research and deliver lectures at the training school.  My exposure on capacity building was further reflected in my role in drafting action plans, as well as being involved in long term projects on Customs modernization. With the work experiences that I gained, I believe that the unique possession of mine will definitely be an added value contributed to my work in the ROCB A/P.

Looking forward to working with you all!
