I am Hong-Young JO from Korea Customs. It’s my pleasure and honor to be part in WCO ROCB A/P Team. First of all, I would like to express my thanks to my colleagues of ROCB A/P and Thai Customs for sincere welcome.
I have worked for Customs for around 32years in various areas including International affairs. During working period, I was proud of being an actor to introduce of new initiatives to Korea Customs e.g. Risk Management and AEO Program. Keeping this positive performance in my mind, I will work here with my valuable colleagues.
Briefly introduce by myself. I earned Master degree from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey in the Unites States in 2008. I was accredited as a WCO Technical Operational Advisor in the AEO field in 2013. I have 2 daughters, first child is junior in colleague majoring in Chinese and second girl is 2nd grade in high school. My favorite sport is playing ping-pong. To be honest with you, I’m a representative player of Korea Customs.
The ROCB A/P has been taking key role to manage well capacity building projects since establishment. As one member of ROCB A/P Team, I will contribute to develop meaningful workshop and meeting for capacity building in this A/P region.
Here is new place and challenge for my life. I believe I make good relationship with dear colleagues and fruitful result.
