Dear Colleagues,

I am Yuko MAMIYA from Japan Customs. It is my great pleasure to join the WCO ROCB A/P and work with my colleagues who have welcomed me warmly and supported me since the first day.

I have been working for Customs for over 16 years, and my expertise in the Customs fields are IPR and capacity building. I recently served as an IPR specialist at the IPR National Center of Japan Customs, just before I was assigned to the ROCB A/P. Since I started working for Customs, I have been engaged in capacity building activities at Japan Customs headquarters, Customs Training Institute (RTC-Japan), and Tokyo Customs to attend workshops/seminars as an expert, etc. My own career in Customs also included working experience abroad as a Customs Attaché in the Consulate-General of Japan in Vladivostok, Russia. I am really glad to contribute my experience and knowledge for the AP region.

I feel honored to have the opportunity to collaborate with the Customs administrations in AP region. I am looking forward to working with you!
