At the invitation of Mr. Anuntasilpa Patchara, the Director-General of Thai Customs Department, Mr. Norikazu Kuramoto, the Head of ROCB A/P and his colleagues attended the virtual signing ceremony for establishment of the RTC Thailand.

Dr. Kunio Mikuriya, the Secretary General of WCO and Mr. Anuntasilpa Patchara, the Director-General of Thai Customs Department virtually signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the establishment of the WCO Asia-Pacific Regional Training Center (RTC) at the Thailand Customs in Bangkok, Thailand on 10 October 2022.

Mr. Kuramoto expressed his warmest congratulation for Thai Customs Department and look forward to further collaboration with RTC Thailand as the same regional entities located in Bangkok, Thailand. Mr. Anuntasilpa Patchara, the Director-General of Thailand Customs Department expressed his intention to support WCO and Asia Pacific region.

RTC Thailand was approved as the 10th RTC in Asia Pacific region by the Asia-Pacific Heads of Customs meeting that took place in Bali, Indonesia in May 2022.
