At the invitation of the Thai Customs Department, Mr. Jun Tajima, Head, and his colleagues from ROCB A/P attended International Customs Day 2026 at Thai Customs Department to celebrate International Customs Day. Mr. Gilles Thomas, Head of Unit (Supply Chain Integrity), Implementation and Capacity Development Directorate of the WCO also attended.

At the beginning of the event, the video message of Mr. Ian Saunders, Secretary-General of WCO was presented and it highlighted the theme of this year “Customs Protecting Society through Vigilance and Commitment”. Following by presentation of WCO Certificates of Merit to distinguished officers in the enforcement area from Mr. Phantong Loykulnanta, Director-General of Thai Customs.

The ceremony was also attended by embassy representatives based in Thailand and officials from various international organizations.
