On 12 June 2025, Mr. Riki Tamaki, Director for AEO, Customs and Tariff Bureau, Ministry of Finance Japan, Mr. Shinpei Sasaki and Ms. Asuka Niwa from the AEO Center, Japan Customs together with Mr. Kazushige Saito, JICA long-term expert, and Mr. Shuhei Namba, Second Secretary at the Embassy of Japan in Thailand, visited the ROCB A/P Office in Bangkok.

Mr. Jun Tajima, Head of ROCB A/P, warmly welcomed the delegation and provided an overview of ROCB A/P’s mission and ongoing activities in supporting WCO Asia-Pacific members through targeted capacity-building efforts. The meeting included a lively discussion with many questions and exchanges of ideas.

This visit was arranged at the occasion of the AEO Workshop as a part of JICA Project held on 10–11 June at the Thai Customs Academy. Mr. Tamaki, Mr. Sasaki and Ms. Niwa participated in the workshop as expert lecturers from Japan Customs.
