Mr. Yuichiro OKUMURA, Regional Development Manager of Asia-Pacific region, WCO Secretariat, paid a visit to Mr. Jun Tajima, Head of ROCB A/P on 29 May 2026. 

During the meeting, ROCB A/P provided an overview of its operation and current capacity building support activities and initiatives, such as new procedures for workshops and Need Survey for the WCO Members in the Asia/Pacific region. ROCB A/P’s Initiatives, for instance, Member Profiles and a regional report ‘Regional Efforts on Implementation of International Standards in Asia Pacific Region’ were presented; they were highly appreciated by the RDM.

The discussion underscored the strong partnership between ROCB A/P and the WCO, reinforcing their joint commitment to advancing regional capacity-building efforts within the WCO framework.

ROCB A/P welcomes the opportunity to further its close collaboration with WCO in the future.
