On 9 October 2026, the ROCB A/P Office in Bangkok had the pleasure of welcoming the delegation from Japan Customs: Ms. Yuko Tsuda, Deputy Director for International Cooperation Division of Customs and Tariff Bureau, Ministry of Finance of Japan, Mr. Masashi Gohbara, Supervisory Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Specialist of IPR National Center, Japan Customs, and Ms. Fuka Saito, Auditor of Post Clearance Audit, Investigation, and Intelligence Division, Hakodate Regional Customs.

Mr. Jun Tajima, Head of ROCB A/P, extended a warm welcome to the delegation. During the visit, Mr. Takeru Yamazaki, Program Manager, delivered a presentation on the role and activities of ROCB A/P, highlighting its efforts to support WCO Asia/Pacific Members through capacity-building initiatives.\

This visit was arranged at the occasion of the training of trainers Workshop as a part of JICA Project held on 5–9 October at the Thai Customs Academy. Headed by Ms. Tsuda, an Accredited WCO Expert on Risk Management and Free Zones, Mr. Gohbara, an Accredited WCO Expert on IPR, and Ms. Saito facilitated the workshop as experts representing Japan Customs. They applauded the participants for their progress throughout the 5-day workshop.
