At the invitation of the Directorate General of Customs and Exercise (GDCE), Ministry of Finance of the Republic Indonesia, Mr. Norikazu Kuramoto, Head of the ROCB A/P and his colleagues attended the Virtual Launching Event of Vice Chair office by online.

Indonesia Customs formally assumes the Vice Chair of Asia Pacific region from July 2020 to June 2022 as took over from India Customs, which was decided by the online 135^th /136^th Council Sessions held on 25^th June 2020.

At this event, Dr, Kunio Mikuriya, Secretary General of the WCO conveyed his warm and encouraging message to the Vice Chair. He said in his message that WCO's activities are based on regional activities, and the AP region is a most dynamic region which contributes to WCO, so A/P Members expect further excellent leading by new Vice Chair. After this, Mr. Heru Pambudi, Director General of DGCE expressed his remarks on the strong commitment to enhance regional activity. Taking this opportunity, ROCB A/P expressed our message that we hope to enjoy close cooperation and collaboration with Vice Chair in the area of capacity building. In addition, colleagues of Indonesia Customs has delivered high-quality music performance and their strong passions to every participant.
