At the invitation of the RILO A/P, Mr. Norikazu Kuramoto, the Head of the ROCB A/P attended the Regional Seminar in Asia Pacific region held on 1st Dec 2022 online hosted by RILO A/P.

In the opening session, Mr. Kuramoto deliver his welcome remarks and explained that illicit drugs are the most concern items in Customs enforcement and Customs play a key role to enforce smuggling drugs through targeting the high-risk cargos and passengers at the national borders. He also stressed that ROCB A/P also fully supports Asia Pacific Members in delivering capacity building activity for improving enforce capability in close cooperation with the RILO A/P.

In this seminar, RTC Thailand and RDTC Korea also join and share its outline and updates. The International Narcotics Control Board (INCB) and World Wide Fund (WWF) were also invited the seminar to share their information.
