Mr. Norikazu KURAMOTO, the Head of ROCB A/P received the courtesy visit of Dr. Vinaya Prakash Singh, the Secretary General of the Asian-Pacific Postal Union (APPU) on 22 March 2023.

During this visit, Mr. KURAMOTO expressed his congratulations to Dr. Vinaya for the new position as the Secretary-General of the APPU. Dr. Vinaya thanked Mr. KURAMOTO and appreciated ROCB A/P’s continuous efforts to enhancing collaboration with the APPU.

Taking this opportunity, Mr. Kuramoto outlined the major current initiatives of the WCO followed by the introduction on the ROCB A/P. After the introduction, Dr. Vinaya explained the Member’s challenges and discussed the possibility of future cooperation such as providing expertise with APPC’s training courses related to cross-border E-Commerce.

Mr. Kuramoto agreed to continue to explore the future cooperation in Customs-related areas and expressed his commitment to support with APPU as much as possible.
